TATTOO ARTIST

Description:
Artisan Tattoo is seeking talented and creative Tattoo Artists to join our fine art collective. As a Tattoo Artist at Artisan, you will be at the forefront of transforming clients’ ideas into unique body art, all within an inclusive and supportive environment that celebrates creativity and self-expression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consultation and Design: Engage with clients to discuss their tattoo ideas, preferences, and inspirations. Create custom tattoo designs that reflect their vision, ensuring they align with Artisan’s artistic values and standards.
  • Tattoo Execution: Skillfully execute tattoos while adhering to industry best practices for hygiene and safety. Ensure that all equipment is sanitized and that all procedures are performed in compliance with health regulations.
  • Client Relationships: Build rapport with clients, providing them with an exceptional experience from consultation through aftercare. Strive to create lasting relationships that foster client loyalty and repeat business.
  • Portfolio Development: Continuously update and maintain a professional portfolio showcasing your artistic style and tattooing techniques. Participate in studio promotions and showcase your work on social media platforms to enhance visibility and engagement.
  • Collaboration and Team Spirit: Work collaboratively with fellow artists and staff to maintain a positive studio atmosphere. Contribute to team meetings and brainstorming sessions aimed at enhancing the overall client experience and studio operations.
  • Continuing Education: Stay updated on the latest tattooing techniques, styles, and trends, as well as industry standards and safety practices. Engage in ongoing education and workshops to refine your skills and artistry.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Tattoo Artist with a diverse portfolio that demonstrates your skill and creativity.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in various tattooing styles and techniques, with a deep understanding of the tattooing process.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with clients and understand their needs.
  • Hygiene Knowledge: Strong knowledge of hygiene and safety regulations within the tattoo industry.
  • Passion: A genuine passion for tattoo culture, fine art, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

OFFICE MANAGER

Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

Description:
Artisan Tattoo is looking for an organized and dynamic Office Manager to oversee the administrative functions of our studio. The Office Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of the studio while providing outstanding service to our clients and support to our artists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Interaction: Greet clients warmly and provide information about our services. Manage appointment scheduling and respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person to ensure a positive client experience.
  • Administrative Duties: Oversee daily administrative tasks such as maintaining records, managing inventory of supplies, and ensuring the studio environment is clean and welcoming. Handle billing, invoicing, and payment processing efficiently and accurately.
  • Team Support: Collaborate with artists and management to coordinate schedules, manage workflows, and facilitate communication within the team. Assist with onboarding new team members and provide ongoing support to enhance studio efficiency.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Assist in planning and executing studio promotions, events, and community outreach programs. Contribute to the studio’s online presence through social media management and content creation.
  • Operational Excellence: Monitor and improve studio processes to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency. Prepare reports on studio performance, client feedback, and other relevant metrics for management review.
  • Event Coordination: Help plan and organize studio events, workshops, and guest artist appearances, ensuring all logistical details are managed effectively.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in office management, administrative support, or a related role, ideally in a creative or customer-centric environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, artists, and team members.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and experience with scheduling tools and client management systems.
